Hub Management

 HUB MANAGEMENT1

Hub Management … a management style for the new millennium, focusing on employee involvement and individuality in creative, pioneering industries. Based on the “loose-tight” principal of management, this style evolved from the paradoxical challenge of maintaining a family atmosphere in a workplace that recognizes and promotes individuality and creativity. Teamwork in this environment is best defined as “a collection of diverse people who respect each other and are committed to each other’s success.”

MBWA (Manage By Wandering Around) permeates this style and hands-on involvement is essential. Employees must be kept in the know about company plans and the expectations that the company has of them.

Being pro-active and “making things happen” is not enough. For this approach to be effective, supplier support and knowing what your client is thinking and doing must be integral parts of the overall company strategy.
