Obama’s First 100 Days
Posted by Tom Locke on April 30th, 2009 filed in General, HistoryPresident Obama has done an admirable job in his first few months in office. Like all Presidents coming into offices, he has issues to face. However, unlike most of his predecessors, many of the issues that he is facing are on the front burner, have global consequences and cannot be moved to the back – economic/financial turmoil, instability of the auto industry and, most recently, the swine flu pandemic quickly come to mind. His calming influence, his clarity in communicating with the American people and willingness to accept responsibility and makes things happen has renewed hope for many nationally and internationally.
