Looking Ahead to the Future

Upon reaching another birthday milestone last week, I heard the comment, “You’re getting older” more than once.   When I responded, “Yes I am but it’s better than the alternative”, it put things into perspective for my “well wishers” and me.

I am comforted by the following:   REMEMBER, GROWING OLDER IS MANDATORY. GROWING UP IS OPTIONAL.

We make a Living by what we get. We make a Life by what we give.   And, I am looking forward to more years of giving.
