Times Are A-Changin’ – Even in Sydney

I have just come back from a wonderful trip abroad – first to Auckland, New Zealand where I was able to experience first hand World Rugby fever in a city and a country that lives and breathes the sport of rugby.

From Auckland, I headed to Sydney, Australia to attend the annual conference of the International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers of which I am a proud member.   In addition to interacting with my fellow members I was able to reconnect with two business  colleagues who I had not seen in over 20 years.

Sydney is a thriving metropolis but has also taken on some refinements that surprised me.   There is still a stong passion for sport but there is also  a focus on a healthy lifestyle.   Who would have thought you would be able to go a pub, mix with the locals and be able to order a gluten-free pizza.   I did.   Yes, times are a-changin’.
