Creating Grey Cup Memories

On Sunday November 27, two of my friends, Paul & Judy, organized a brunch for friends and colleagues prior to the Grey Cup.   It was informal affair with lots of comraderie, trivia and laughter.   We all came out to the brunch decked out in our finest BC colours.

Two of my guests that day were  Bud & Maureen, season ticket holders, whose  seats are close to mine.   Below is a picture of us at the brunch.   The shirt I am wearing (Number 77) was my Dad’s who received the jersey on his 77th birthday – November 19, 2006.   It was also the day the BC Lions won their 5th Grey Cup.

Dad passed away in 2009 but I know he was looking down at the festivities on Sunday and it was great to feel his presence during the Lions’ 6th Grey Cup victory.
