2011 – Where Did It Go?

I know I’m not the first person to say, “Where did the year go?’   It seems as we get older, time moves faster.

In tandem with questioning the speed of time, we often question what we did during the year.   To that end I sat back today and reflected on the past year and began writing down things in no particular order that put a smile on my face.   This is the second year that I have done this.

Upon completion of this year’s discoveries and accomplishments, a feeling of satisfaction was derived especially from those that related to situations where I was able to help or give assistance to others.

This exercise does not have to be a daunting task.   In fact, it can be fun if you involve others such as your spouse.   To trigger some of my memories of the year, I simply pulled up my 2011 calendar and looked at the various meetings and activities I participated in.

This exercise also gave me a feeling of purpose and excitement for some of the projects I will be entering into next year.   I will keep you posted.
