Getting Through the Day and Being Productive

Have you ever come home at night from work feeling completely drained and asking yourself the question, “What did I do today?” or saying, “I didn’t get anything done that I wanted to do.”   You’re not alone.

However, if you want to be and feel more productive each day and have a little energy at the end of the day for activities and/or your family, here are a couple of tips:

  • Leave your place of work at least once every day, even if it’s January and you work in a cold climate.   It will clear your head and give you time to reflect.
  • Never go to more than two meetings a day or you will never get anything done.   Timely follow up is  a cornerstone  for productivity – how can you follow up if your tied up in meetings all day.
