Honouring the Past … Inspiring the Future

The titling of this entry is the tagline for the BC Sports Hall of Fame & Museum (HOF), which came “back home” to the newly refurbished BC Place Stadium earlier this month.

Having to move from the stadium during a massive upgrade, the  HOF went on the road for the past  3+ years and was able to visit a number of communities in BC.

On Friday February 10 the Hall of Fame unveiled its new look with a formal, invitation only, reception.   Below is a photo of yours truly with other supporters and  human dynamo, Sue Griffin (in black), the President & CEO of the HOF.

What an evening.   An evening that gave me cause to sit back and revisit my 20 year  love affair  with the HOF as a sponsor, board member and supporter.

A great place to visit for young and old, The HOF is technology-current and has been able to make the past come alive.   And, no doubt, “Inspire the Future”.
