A Habit Worth Developing

Whenever we are faced with bad news, a difficult person or an unpleasant challenge, we tend to react in ways that don’t serve us very well.   We overreact, blow things out of proportion and often focus on the negative aspects.   Some of us take on the role of a victim.

By  the same token, we all know that everyday is not going to be a bowl of cherries.   So why don’t we accept what life has to offer and roll with the punches more?

In the Zen philosohy your life begins to flow as you increase your ability to “let go” of problems.   As the serenity prayer goes, “Change the things that can be changed, accept those that cannot, and have the wisdom to know the difference.”

It all starts with your attitude.   Keep it positive and life becomes more than bearable, it becomes enjoyable.
