The upbeat and religious philosophies of Norman Vincent Peale made him one of the most popular figures in the United States.

He preached the power of being positive.

One of my favourite quotes from him that reflects today’s times somewhat is:

“Become a possibilitarian.  No matter how dark things seem to be or actually are, raise your sights and see possibilities – always see them, for they are always there.”

This is not always easy to do … but if it was, everybody would be doing it.
