Getting Things Done

It has often been said that if you want to get something done give it to a busy person.  I have seen this axiom proven time and time again in both the business and volunteer communities.

Notice it states, “… if you want to get something done give it to a busy person” and not “… to a busy group“.  And if something is accomplished by a group, it is because of a strong leader, an individual who aspires to accountability, making things happen and meeting deadlines.

My good friend, legendary broadcaster, businessman and philanthropist, Red Robinson,  sums it up best in a saying he has been using for decades:

In all the parks,

In all the cities,

There are no

Statues to committees
