A Bucket List With A Twist

This morning I received an email from two young entrepreneurs, Fraser Snelgrove and Richard Seymour, founders of the Nine O’Clock Gun Company.  In the email they introduced their new monthly newsletter, “The Boom City Monthly”.

The company focuses on  celebrating Vancouver’s rich sports culture  by bringing historic teams back to life via the creation and distribution of modern day hats that prominently display the original cresting/logos of the past.  These creations honoring our heritage are affectionately called “buckets”.

Their “bucket list” includes tributes to the 1911 Vancouver Lacrosse Club, the 1914 Vancouver Asahi, the 1920 Vancouver Athletic Club and the late great Harry Jerome. Each hat/bucket has been well researched and is complemented with a story.  In fact, in their inaugural newsletter released today, they featured the Vancouver Asahi. Harry Jerome Bucket

Here I am in Iceland sporting a Harry Jerome bucket.

I received a lot of positive comments.
