Doing It Right – Rock ‘N’ Roll Style

I  have just returned from a memorable “bucket list” holiday where I visited five Major League Baseball parks in 8 days.

After attending opening day in Toronto for the 39th straight year, I flew to Cleveland and caught the Indians/White Sox game.

Before heading onto Chicago (Wrigley Field), St. Louis and Kansas City, I spent  a day  at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and I am so glad I did.

The Hall is picturesque, extremely well laid out and is complemented with a support staff at all levels who could not do enough for you.  The exhibits are time capsules and they brought back a flood of memories of my days as a youth.

While there I also had the opportunity to meet and talk with some of the management team including the President, Greg Harris, his Executive Assistant, Sharon Uhl and the Director of Library and Archives, Andy Leach.  Their commitment and passion for music and what the Hall stands for was quite evident.

I also had the opportunity of meeting legendary Deejay, Norm N. Nite, who was a prime mover in bringing the  Hall  to Cleveland in 1986.

In short, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame remains on my bucket list because I will return.
