The Path Best Travelled

Most sports are  a lot like chess … you have to think ahead and know how your move will cause your opponent to react–and what you plan to do when that happens.

We can wait to see what happens next in our business or careers and then react to it, or we can strategize, plan and work our plan to make things happen. The latter is better.

Being proactive and assertive are traits of leaders.  And it is more fulfilling being a leader than a follower.
