Making Your Life Count
Posted by Tom Locke on August 20th, 2016 filed in General, History, LifeI truly believe I am not alone when I question myself from time to time why am I here on earth.
With age comes more and more retrospection with the reviewing of past events in our life taking on a new meaning. For me that new meaning is one of reflecting on valued relationships I have made over the years. Relationships that I have grown to cherish more and more each day.
As I have written many times, man was born to interact. And it is that interaction that gives us meaning. It’s not the achievements we have accumulated during those interactions but the journey getting there and who we connected and shared with along the way.
This was summarized best for me in a recent email I received from a colleague. In that email, he stated the following:
It’s Not What You Gather, But What You Scatter That Tells What Kind Of Life You Have Lived.
